This PowerApps belongs to Construction company where they logs their construction site Inspection on daily basis.
The application consist of four major roles where admin manages the list of the customer inquiries, search customers with multiple attributes like name, address, etc. Later the customer inquiry is further send to the surveyor for further process.
Once the inquiry has been received by the admin, the surveyor gauges the overall requirement and gives ballpark estimation. Later, it is sent to the project manager for re-evaluation. Surveyor can even add customer basic details and items required for installation along with the notes.
After receiving email from the surveyor, the project manager re-evaluates the requirement and checks whether the estimate given matches the requirements or not. The PM also holds right to change the project requirement and its estimation.
Once everything is finalized, the requirement is further shared with the installer in order to accomplish the project with needed supplies and equipment. The final charges is been disclosed once the project is completed and the job is done.
This screen allow admin to evaluate customers’ inquiries, search customers with multiple attributes like name, ID, phone number etc. and add new customers.
Later, the admin passes information to the surveyor where it evaluates the customer’s requirements, asses the materials and equipment needed and then gives the ballpark estimate to the client.
This screen let surveyors add project and its details like Address, town, phone number and more. The surveyor can even add item details like wires, plugs and sockets needed to install the cables. Essential and important notes can also be added so as to ensure seamless operations.
The project details are reviewed by the project manager and can even edit the same if needed.
We were supposed to help the client with changing his entire manual work into an automated platform where he could run his business. The job was to provide the client with a Powerapp where he can assign the work to his team for installing cables after surveying the area, materials and cost required for each component which were dynamically specified for the admin. The worked can just get the PDF (HTML to PDF conversion) for all the estimation and install the cable according to the survey made.
This screen shows the list of projects assigned and confirmed to the project managers, admins, surveyors and installers as per their roles and responsibilities.
They can even view, edit and change project status, perform search through multiple attributes and can check the project status as per the assigned roles.
This screen allows project managers to select employee and assign him/her role as per its employment standards.
For instance: If the employee is selected as admin, he'll have full rights to manage application and its hierarchy. If an employee is assigned role other than admin, he will have restricted access to the application.
